一、申請(qǐng)資格
1. 應屆高(gāo)中畢業或已取得(de)高(gāo)中畢業文憑，身心健康的非中國籍公民。
2. 根據中國中華人(rén)民共和(hé)國教育部教外函〔2020〕12号文的規定：
依據《中華人(rén)民共和(hé)國國籍法》第五條，父母雙方或一方為(wèi)中國公民并定居在外國，本人(rén)出生(shēng)時(shí)即具有外國國籍的，不具有中國國籍。其申請(qǐng)作(zuò)為(wèi)國際學生(shēng)進入我校本專科階段學習，除符合學校的其它報名資格外，還(hái)應持有有效的外國護照或國籍證明(míng)文件4年（含）以上(shàng)，且從2020年4月30日起至2024年4月30日止在外國實際居住2年以上(shàng)的記錄（一年中實際在外國居住滿9個(gè)月可(kě)按一年計(jì)算(suàn)，以入境和(hé)出境簽章為(wèi)準）。
從中國大(dà)陸（內(nèi)地）、香港、澳門(mén)和(hé)台灣地區(qū)移民并獲得(de)外國國籍後申請(qǐng)作(zuò)為(wèi)國際學生(shēng)進入我校本科階段學習的，也應滿足此項要求。

二、申請(qǐng)材料
學術(shù)類申請(qǐng)材料：
1.高(gāo)中畢業證書(shū)。應屆高(gāo)中畢業生(shēng)提交所在學校出具的預計(jì)畢業證明(míng)原件；
2.高(gāo)中階段全部課程的成績單；
3.個(gè)人(rén)陳述：包括個(gè)人(rén)簡介并闡述你(nǐ)對中國的了解及來(lái)華中科技(jì)大(dà)學學習的原因和(hé)學習期望；
4.自我介紹視(shì)頻：時(shí)長60秒(miǎo)以內(nèi)的中文或英文自我介紹；
5.語言能力證明(míng)：
理(lǐ)工科及醫(yī)科漢語授課本科專業的申請(qǐng)人(rén)需要提供HSK4級180分或以上(shàng)的成績證明(míng)，人(rén)文社科漢語授課本科專業的申請(qǐng)人(rén)需要提供HSK5級180分或以上(shàng)的成績證明(míng)（漢語水(shuǐ)平不達标者需在對外漢語教學中心補習直至滿足漢語水(shuǐ)平要求，方可(kě)申請(qǐng)進入本科學習）。
申請(qǐng)人(rén)前置學曆為(wèi)漢語授課或母語為(wèi)漢語的，經認定可(kě)免提供HSK成績；
英語授課本科專業的申請(qǐng)人(rén)需要提供托福80分或以上(shàng)的成績證明(míng)，或雅思5.5分或以上(shàng)的成績證明(míng)，也可(kě)提供其它被我校認可(kě)的英語能力證明(míng)。
申請(qǐng)人(rén)前置學曆為(wèi)英語授課或母語為(wèi)英語的，經認定可(kě)免提供英語能力證明(míng)；
6. 其它可(kě)證明(míng)學習能力和(hé)綜合素質的支撐材料，如獲獎證書(shū)、科技(jì)成果、發表論文、參與活動等，申請(qǐng)建築、設計(jì)類相關專業需提供5幅或以上(shàng)個(gè)人(rén)美術(shù)作(zuò)品；
非學術(shù)類申請(qǐng)材料：
1.普通(tōng)護照掃描件（最新有效護照，有效期至2024年12月31日或以後）；
2.現居住在中國大(dà)陸境內(nèi)的申請(qǐng)人(rén)需提供當前有效簽證或居留許可(kě)頁面；
3.屬于申請(qǐng)資格中第2類情況的申請(qǐng)人(rén)，需提交：
（1）所有曾持有過的護照個(gè)人(rén)信息頁；
（2）所有曾出入及合法居住在中國大(dà)陸（內(nèi)地）、香港、澳門(mén)和(hé)台灣地區(qū)的簽證、居留許可(kě)、出入境簽章頁面。
4.外國人(rén)體(tǐ)格檢查表。請(qǐng)點擊下載；
5.無犯罪記錄證明(míng)；
6.個(gè)人(rén)經濟能力證明(míng)或經濟擔保證明(míng)（5000美元或以上(shàng)）；
7.至2024年9月1日未滿18周歲的申請(qǐng)人(rén)，需提交監護人(rén)委托書(shū)及在華監護人(rén)保證書(shū)。
*上(shàng)述材料需提供中文或英文版本，其它語言請(qǐng)提供官方公證翻譯件。
三、申請(qǐng)流程
申請(qǐng)時(shí)間(jiān)： 2023年11月1日至2024年6月30日
第一步：
登錄華中科技(jì)大(dà)學國際學生(shēng)招生(shēng)與管理(lǐ)服務系統
網址：http://admission.hust.edu.cn/
第二步：
選擇具體(tǐ)項目，上(shàng)傳學術(shù)類申請(qǐng)材料，确認無誤後提交申請(qǐng)；
第三步：
完成在線語言測試；
第四步：
通(tōng)過測試後，繳納申請(qǐng)費；
第五步：
學校将對申請(qǐng)材料進行(xíng)學術(shù)審核。通(tōng)過審核的申請(qǐng)人(rén)将收到預錄函；
第六步：
上(shàng)傳非學術(shù)類申請(qǐng)材料，确認無誤後提交申請(qǐng)并等待最終錄取結果。
備注：
1. 上(shàng)傳的文件應清晰、完整、真實、有效，否則将不予受理(lǐ)；
2. 所有申請(qǐng)人(rén)需通(tōng)過國際學生(shēng)在線申請(qǐng)與服務系統進行(xíng)在線申請(qǐng)，其它申請(qǐng)方式将不予受理(lǐ)。申請(qǐng)完成後請(qǐng)勿再郵寄任何紙質版申請(qǐng)材料或通(tōng)過電(diàn)子郵件發送；
3. 申請(qǐng)完成後應定期登錄華中科技(jì)大(dà)學國際學生(shēng)招生(shēng)與管理(lǐ)服務系統查看錄取進展，保持聯系電(diàn)話(huà)暢通(tōng)并及時(shí)關注郵件。申請(qǐng)人(rén)可(kě)于3月份後登錄系統查詢錄取結果，錄取通(tōng)知書(shū)和(hé)外國留學人(rén)員來(lái)華學習簽證申請(qǐng)表預計(jì)将于錄取完成後10個(gè)工作(zuò)日內(nèi)寄出；
4.我校會(huì)根據情況要求申請(qǐng)人(rén)提供其它補充材料或對申請(qǐng)人(rén)進行(xíng)視(shì)頻面試。

1.申請(qǐng)費：申請(qǐng)人(rén)須在完成網上(shàng)申請(qǐng)後的15天內(nèi)支付600元/100美元的申請(qǐng)費（恕不退還(hái)），支付方式如下：

五、華中科技(jì)大(dà)學校長獎學金
學校将根據國際學生(shēng)的申請(qǐng)材料進行(xíng)綜合評定并遴選獎學金候選人(rén)。
獎勵對象：高(gāo)中成績優異、綜合素質優秀的自費國際本科生(shēng)；
獎勵金額：2000-5000元（一次性）；
發放時(shí)間(jiān)：第一學期（具體(tǐ)時(shí)間(jiān)報到注冊後另行(xíng)通(tōng)知）。

2024 Application Guide for International Undergraduate Students
Huazhong University of Science and Technology
Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) is a comprehensive research university located in Wuhan, China under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Education. It is one of the first universities approved under the national "Double First-Class" Initiative, China’s “Excellence Initiative” for institutions of higher education. HUST has consistently ranked among the top 10 universities in China in the major domestic and international rankings, including the Times Higher Education World University Rankings and US News and World Report Best Global Universities Ranking.
HUST boasts a full range of academic disciplines, comprising 11major categories that range from engineering and medicine -- HUST’s two most notable pillars of strength – to its fast-growing science and distinctive liberal arts disciplines. Complementing this rich academic environment is HUST’s remarkable greenscape – covering 72% of the campus, its rich canopy of trees explains why many people now refer to it as the “university in the forest.”
➭ Eligibility and Requirements
1. Graduating high school students or obtained a senior high school diploma, physically and mentally healthy foreigners.
2. According to the regulations released by Ministry of Education, China:
- If parent(s) was (were) a Chinese citizen settling in a foreign country at the time applicants were born, applicants must have obtained their current foreign citizenship before April 30,2020. In addition, the applicant must have lived outside China for at least 2 years during the period between April 30, 2020 and April 30, 2024 (The actual residence in a foreign country for 9 months in a year can be counted as one year, subject to the entry and exit signatures).
- This requirement shall also be met by those who apply for undergraduate study as international students after immigrating from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and obtaining foreign nationality.

➭ Documents for Application
Part 1. Academic Documents
1. High school diploma or proof of impending graduation (for applicants in their final year of study).
2. High school transcripts.
3. Personal Statement: Introduce yourself in details, explain your understanding of China, the reasons and your expectations for studying at HUST.
4. Personal Introduction Video: Please record and submit a video in English or Chinese within 60 seconds.
5. Language Proficiency:
Chinese Medium:
HSK4 with scores 180 or above for programs of Science, Engineering and Medicine;
HSK5 with scores 180 or above for programs of Economics, Management and Literature.
If the previous degree education was instructed in Chinese or mother tongue is Chinese, HSK scores can be exempted after verification.
English Medium:
TOEFL 80 or above;
IELTS 5.5 or above;
other certificates of the same proficiency level which are accepted by HUST;
If the previous degree education was instructed in English or mother tongue is English, the English proficiency certificate can be exempted after confirmation.
6. Other supporting materials that can prove learning ability and comprehensive quality, such as award certificates, scientific and technological achievements, published papers, participation in activities, etc.
5 or more personal art works are required to apply for architecture or design related majors.
Part 2. Non-Academic Documents
1. Photocopy of valid ordinary passport (expiry date should be after December 31, 2024).
2. Applicants currently residing in China must provide a copy of the page containing a valid visa or residence permit.
3. Applicants in category Eligibility and Requirements 2 must provide:
(1) copies of all passports he/she used to have.
(2) all copies of visa or residence permit relevant to stay in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan.
4. Physical Examination Form(Please click to download).
5. Certificate of Non-criminal Record. (A certificate issued by the police station or law enforcement agency certifying that you have no previous criminal record).
6. Financial Certification/Bank Statement (5,000 USD or above).
7. Applicants who are under the age of 18 by September 1, 2024 should submit the power of attorney of guardian and the letter of guarantee of guardians in China.
*The above materials shall be provided in Chinese or English. For other languages, please provide official notarized translations.
➭ Application and Admission Procedures
Application Period:
November 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024.
Step 1.
Log in to the online application system at http://admission.hust.edu.cn/.
Step 2.
Choose the program, upload the Academic Documents, complete and submit your application.
Step 3.
Take the online language test.
Step 4.
Finish the payment of the application fee after passing the Test.
Step 5.
The University will conduct the academic review of application and issue a Nomination Letter for Admission to the those who pass the review.
Step 6.
Upload the Non-Academic Documents, and submit your application and wait for the final admission result;
Note:
(1) The documents uploaded should be clear, complete, true, and valid. Incomplete or false applications will be rejected;
(2) All applicants should apply online through the system, other methods will not be accepted. After the application is completed, please do not mail any paper application materials or send them by email;
(3) Please check the online application system and email frequently. Applicants can log in to the system to check the admission results after March. The admission notice and the JW 202 form are expected to be sent within 10 working days after the completion of admission process.
(4) HUST will request the applicant to provide other supplementary materials or conduct a video interview for the applicant according to the situation.
