國際中文教師(shī)獎學金招生(shēng)簡章（2023年）

為(wèi)滿足國際社會(huì)對日益增長的中文教育類人(rén)才的需求，促進世界各國中文教育的發展，助力國際中文教育人(rén)才的成長，教育部中外語言交流合作(zuò)中心（以下簡稱中心）設立國際中文教師(shī)獎學金（以下簡稱獎學金），聚焦培養合格的海外中文教師(shī)。孔子學院、獨立設置的孔子課堂，部分漢語考試考點，外國相關教育機構、高(gāo)校中文師(shī)範專業/中文院系、國外有關中文教學行(xíng)業組織、中國駐外使（領）館等（以下簡稱推薦機構）可(kě)推薦優秀學生(shēng)和(hé)在職中文教師(shī)到中國大(dà)學（以下簡稱接收院校）學習和(hé)進修國際中文教育及相關專業。

華中科技(jì)大(dà)學是國家(jiā)教育部直屬重點綜合性大(dà)學，是國家(jiā)“211工程”重點建設和(hé)“985工程”建設高(gāo)校之一，是首批“雙一流”建設高(gāo)校，位列中國大(dà)學前十。根據2023年U.S NEWS和(hé)QS的最新排名，學校在全球高(gāo)校排名中分别位列第109名和(hé)第306名；在軟科2022年世界大(dà)學排名中，學校跻身全球百強，位居第96名。

一、招生(shēng)對象

1.非中國籍人(rén)士；

2.對華友好，無違法犯罪記錄，遵守中國政府的法律、法規和(hé)學校的規章制(zhì)度；

3.身心健康，品學兼優；

4.有志(zhì)于從事中文教育、教學及相關工作(zuò)；

5.年齡為(wèi)16-35周歲（統一以2023年9月1日計(jì)）。在職中文教師(shī)放寬至45周歲，本科獎學金申請(qǐng)者一般不超過25周歲。

二、獎學金類别及申請(qǐng)條件

1.漢語國際教育（國際中文教育）專業碩士研究生(shēng)

2023年9月入學，資助期限為(wèi)2年。

具有大(dà)學本科學曆。漢語考試成績達到HSK（五級）210分、HSKK（中級）60分。提供畢業後拟任教機構工作(zuò)協議或相關證明(míng)者優先。

2.漢語國際教育（國際中文教育）專業本科生(shēng)

2023年9月入學，資助期限為(wèi)4年。

具有高(gāo)中學曆。漢語考試成績達到HSK（四級）210分、HSKK（中級）60分。

3.一學年研修生(shēng)

2023年9月入學，資助期限為(wèi)11個(gè)月。不錄取享受過同類獎學金的申請(qǐng)者。

漢語研修方向，漢語考試成績達到HSK（三級）210分，提供HSKK成績者優先。

4.一學期研修生(shēng)

2023年9月、2024年3月入學，資助期限為(wèi)5個(gè)月。不錄取護照上(shàng)有X1、X2簽證者。

漢語言文學、中國曆史、中國哲學等方向，漢語考試成績達到HSK（三級）180分，具有HSKK成績。

5.四周研修生(shēng)

2023年7月或12月入學，資助期限為(wèi)4周。不錄取護照上(shàng)有X1、X2簽證者。

漢語研修、中醫(yī)、太極文化、漢語言+中國家(jiā)庭體(tǐ)驗等

方向，具有HSK成績。需由推薦機構組團進行(xíng)報名并與我校确定在華學習計(jì)劃，每團10-15人(rén)。

6.獎學金線上(shàng)項目

1)一學年漢語研修線上(shàng)項目

2023年9月或2024年3月入學。一般漢語水(shuǐ)平考試成績需達到HSK（三級）180分，提供HSKK成績者優先。

2)一學期漢語研修線上(shàng)項目

2023年9月或2024年3月入學。一般需具有漢語水(shuǐ)平考試（HSK）成績（對級别和(hé)成績不作(zuò)具體(tǐ)要求）。

3)專項線上(shàng)研修項目

具體(tǐ)項目、申請(qǐng)條件和(hé)申請(qǐng)辦法見我校專項線上(shàng)研修項目更新（sie.hust.edu.cn）。

三、獎學金資助內(nèi)容及标準

獎學金資助內(nèi)容包括：學費、住宿費、生(shēng)活費（四周研修生(shēng)除外）和(hé)綜合醫(yī)療保險費。具體(tǐ)标準詳見國際中文教師(shī)獎學金網站(zhàn)（cis.chinese.cn）。

四、申請(qǐng)流程

1．2023年3月1日起，申請(qǐng)者可(kě)登錄中外語言交流合作(zuò)中心網站(zhàn)（http://www.chinese.cn）國際中文教師(shī)獎學金闆塊，申請(qǐng)國際中文教師(shī)獎學金(接收院校選擇：華中科技(jì)大(dà)學)。

2．申請(qǐng)者在國際中文教師(shī)獎學金網站(zhàn)提交申請(qǐng)後，須登陸華中科技(jì)大(dà)學國際學生(shēng)在線申請(qǐng)與服務系統（admission.hust.edu.cn）進行(xíng)在線注冊和(hé)申請(qǐng)，并上(shàng)傳國際中文教師(shī)獎學金申請(qǐng)表作(zuò)為(wèi)報名費支付證明(míng)。

3．在線申請(qǐng)的截止日期：

1) 2023年4月15日（2023年7月入學）；

2) 2023年5月15日（2023年9月入學）；

3) 2023年9月15日（2023年12月入學）；

4) 2023年11月15日（2024年3月入學）。

五、申請(qǐng)材料

1．與所有申請(qǐng)者有關的證明(míng)材料

1)護照照片頁掃描件。

2) HSK、HSKK成績報告（有效期兩年）掃描件。

3)推薦機構負責人(rén)的推薦信。

2．與學曆生(shēng)有關的證明(míng)材料

4)提供最高(gāo)學曆證明(míng)（畢業預期證明(míng)）和(hé)在校學習成績單。

5)漢語國際教育（國際中文教育）專業碩士須提供兩名副教授以上(shàng)職稱導師(shī)的推薦信。提供畢業後拟任教機構工作(zuò)協議者優先資助。

3．在職中文教師(shī)須附上(shàng)就職機構出具的在職證明(míng)和(hé)推薦信。

4．未滿18周歲的申請(qǐng)者，須提交在華監護人(rén)署名的委托證明(míng)文件。

5．申請(qǐng)者還(hái)須提供我校要求的其他證明(míng)材料。

六、關于在職中文教師(shī)和(hé)漢語橋獲獎者

1.在職中文教師(shī)

在職中文教師(shī)申請(qǐng)各類獎學金，可(kě)提供就職機構出具的在職證明(míng)和(hé)推薦信，免提交漢語水(shuǐ)平考試（HSK）證書(shū)。

2.漢語橋獲獎者

在各類漢語橋比賽中獲得(de)“國際中文教師(shī)獎學金證書(shū)”者，登錄國際中文教師(shī)獎學金網站(zhàn)，憑獎學金證書(shū)向目标接

收院校提交申請(qǐng)材料。

七、免責聲明(míng)

1．申請(qǐng)者需提供真實、完整、有效的申請(qǐng)材料，弄虛作(zuò)假，一經查證，取消申請(qǐng)資格。

2．入學體(tǐ)檢不合格，中途退學及未經許可(kě)不按時(shí)報到、休學等情況，取消獎學金資格。

3．學曆生(shēng)須參加年度評審，詳見《國際中文教師(shī)獎學金年度評審辦法》。

Application Guide for 2023 HUST

International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship

To meet the growing international demand for Chinese language teachers, facilitate Chinese language education around the world, and support the professional development of Chinese language teachers, the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) has established the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as the Scholarship) for eligible Chinese language teachers outside of China. Confucius Institutes, independent Confucius Classrooms, selected HSK test centers, foreign educational institutions, Chinese language teacher training programs/Chinese departments at foreign universities, professional associations for Chinese language teaching, Chinese embassies (consulates) abroad (hereinafter collectively referred to as Recommending Institutions) may recommend outstanding students and in-service Chinese language teachers to further their studies in international Chinese language education and related programs at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST).

HUST is a comprehensive research university under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Education. It is a participant university of the former “985” Project in China, and also one of the first universities approved under the national "Double First-Class" Initiative, China’s “Excellence Initiative” for institutions of higher education, ranking among the top ten universities in China. According to the latest 2023 US NEWS and QS World University Rankings, HUST ranks 109th and 306th respectively in the world universities rankings; in the 2022 Academic Ranking of World Universities, HUST entered into top 100 in the world, ranking 96th.

HUST covers an area of over 460 hectares with green trees, favorable environment and beautiful scenery. It has been referred to the “University in the Forest” with a 72% greenery coverage. HUST boasts a full range of academic disciplines, and basically builds a comprehensive and research-oriented university discipline system. Since 1960s, HUST has cultivated more than 15,000 outstanding international talents from over 160 countries and regions in the world.

Welcome to study at HUST!

1. ELIGIBILITY

a) Be a non-Chinese citizen;

b) Be friendly to China, have no criminal record, abide by the laws and regulations of China and the rules and regulations of the Host Institution;

c) Be in good physical and mental health, be in good academic and behavioral standing;

d) Be interested in Chinese language education and related work; and

e) Be aged between 16 and 35 years on September 1, 2023. The maximum age limit for in-service Chinese teachers may be extended to 45, but those who apply for a scholarship for a Bachelor’s degree shall be younger than 25 under most circumstances.

2. SCHOLARSHIP TYPES AND QUALIFICATIONS

A. Scholarship for Master’s Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (International Chinese Language Education)

The program commences in September 2023 and provides scholarship for a maximum of two academic years.

Applicants shall hold a Bachelor’s degree, and have a minimum score of 210 on the HSK Test (Level 5) as well as 60 on the HSKK test (Intermediate Level).Priority will be given to applicants who may provide a work contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China or a proof to the same effect.

B. Scholarship for Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (International Chinese Language Education)

The program commences in September 2023 and provides scholarship for a maximum of four academic years.

Applicants shall hold a senior high school diploma and a minimum score of 210 on the HSK Test (Level 4) as well as 60 on the HSKK test (Intermediate Level).

C.Scholarship for One -Year Study Program

The program commences in September 2023, and provides scholarship for a maximum of eleven months. International students who have benefited from similar scholarships are not eligible.

For the area of Chinese Language Study, applicants shall have a minimum score of 210 on the HSK test (Level 3). Priority will be given to applicants who provide an HSKK test score.

D.Scholarship for One-Semester Study Program

The program commences either in September 2023 or March 2024, and provides scholarship of a maximum of five months. Applicants holding the X1 or X2 visa category are not eligible.

For the areas of Chinese Language and Literature, Chinese History and Chinese Philosophy, etc., applicants shall have a minimum score of 180 on the HSK test (Level 3), and an HSKK test score is required.

E.Scholarship for Four-Week Study

The program commences either in July or December, 2023, and provides a four-week scholarship. Applicants holding the X1 or X2 visa category are not eligible.

For the areas of Chinese language study, traditional Chinese medicine, Taiji culture, or Chinese language plus homestay with a Chinese family program etc., applicants are required to provide HSK test scores. The program may be organized and applied for by a recommending institution with 10-15 participants per group. Before the trip, a detailed study plan shall be made in consultation with HUST.

F.Scholarship for Online Programs

a) Online Program for One-Year Chinese Language Study commences in September 2023 or March 2024. A general Chinese proficiency test score of 180 in HSK (Level 3) is required, and priority will be given to those who also provide an HSKK test score.

b) Online Program for One-Semester Chinese Language Study commences in September 2023 or March 2024. Generally, applicants must have an HSK test score (regardless of level or score).

c) For Special Online Study Program, please consult HUST for specific application requirements and methods of application（sie.hust.edu.cn）.

3.SCHOLARSHIP COVERAGE AND CRITERIA

The scholarship supports tuition, accommodation, living allowance (excluding four-week study program students) and comprehensive medical insurance.

4.APPLICATION PROCEDURES

a) Online registration will be available from March 1, 2023 on the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website (http://www.chinese.cn).

Choose Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

b) After submitting the application on the International Chinese Teacher Scholarship website, applicants need to log in to the HUST Online Application and Service System for International Student (admission.hust.edu.cn) to register and apply online, and upload the International Chinese Teachers Scholarship Application Form as proof for the required registration payment.

The Application Deadlines (Beijing Time):

April 15^th2023（For programs commencing in July 2023）

May 15^th2023（For programs commencing in September 2023）

September 15^th2023（For programs commencing in December 2023）

November 15^th2023（For programs commencing in March 2024）

5. APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

A. For all applicants:

a) A scanned copy of passport photo page;

b) A scanned copy of score reports of the HSK and HSKK tests (within the two-year validity);

c) A reference letter by the head of the recommending institutions.

B. For degree scholarship program applicants:

d) A certification of the highest education diploma (or proof of expected graduation) and an official transcript;

e) Applicants of the Scholarship for Master’s Degree are required to provide 2 reference letters from professors or associate professors. Priority will be given to applicants who may provide an employment contract with a teaching institution upon completing their studies in China or proof to the same effect.

C.Applicants currently working as Chinese language teachers shall provide proof of employment as well as a reference letter by the employer.

D.Applicants under the age of 18 shall provide certified documents of designation signed by their entrusted legal guardians in China.

E.Applicants shall also provide additional documents required by HUST.

6.Policies Regarding Currently Employed Chinese Language Teachers and Chinese Bridge Award Recipients

a)In-Service Chinese Language Teachers

In-service Chinese language teachers may be exempted from HSK/HSKK certificates if they provide proof of employment and a letter of recommendation from the employer.

b) Chinese Bridge Winners

Applicants who have received the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship Certificate during Chinese Bridge competitions may submit their application documents along with their scholarship certificates to the Host Institutions directly at the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship website.

7.DISCLAIMER

A. Applicants are required to provide true, complete, and effective application materials. Otherwise, they will be disqualified from applying for HUST.

B. Those who failed to pass the health assessment, dropped out midway and/or suspended will be deprived of scholarship.

C. Degree students are subject to the annual assessment according to theAnnual Appraisal Procedures of International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship.
