HUST holds groundbreaking ceremony of Junshan International Campus
On May 22, the groundbreaking ceremony of the HUST International Campus for Education and Scientific Innovation (Jushan International Campus) was officially held at the foot of Junshan Hill. Present at the ceremony were Liu Ziqing, Standing Committee Member of the Wuhan Municipal Party Committee, Tang Chao, Deputy Secretary of Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) Committee, Li Yuanyuan, Chair of the University Committee of HUST, Xie Xiaolin, Vice President of HUST, You Ruikai, Chair of the Board of CCCC Second Harbor Engineering Company Ltd., and Tang Zhaohui, Deputy Dean of Architectural Design and Research Institute of South China University of Technology.
HUST holds "Global Competence" seminar with NUS
From May 21 to 28, HUST and the National University of Singapore (NUS) jointly organized the "Global Competence" seminar, engaging 23 administrative staff from HUST in a six-day study session at NUS’s Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy.
Professor Ingrid Fleming awarded as Advisory Professor of HUST
On June 5, Prof. Ingrid Fleming from Goethe University visited the School of Basic Medicine, Tongji Medical College, HUST and was awarded as the Advisory Professor of HUST, which is a high-level and permanent title for foreign experts. The Awarding Ceremony was held at the Second Meeting Room of Tongji Medical College. Academician You Zheng, President of HUST, presented the Letter of Appointment to Prof. Fleming. The Awarding Ceremony was hosted by Prof. Chen Jianguo, Vice President of HUST.
HUST unveils its state-of-the-art natatorium
On the morning of June 1st, the opening ceremony of HUST’s natatorium was held. University leaders, Li Yuanyuan, Zhan Yiqing, Ma Jianhui and Yu Junqing attended the ceremony. Sun Jingbo, Dean of the School of Physical Education, presided over the ceremony.
